The rendering shows the Studies Building, the only wing constructed.
The four wings of the building
complex designed by Kocher would have provided for (1) administration (the
wing to the left of the entrance, (2) an exhibition hall and library, (3)
a studies wing with student and faculty studies, a classroom, two faculty
apartments, an art room, and an open studio space, (4) a wing with
"conversation rooms," exhibition space, student studies, and a faculty
apartment, and (5) a central hexagonal gathering hall. The building was
designed to take advantage of views to the lake.
